CRI END SUCTION PUMP RANGE
OVERVIEW OF END SUCTION PUMPS
An end suction pump is a centrifugal pump with an axial suction and a 90-degree output. It is also known as a transfer pump. Many designs include a centre line discharge to adhere to local or global norms.End-suction centrifugal pumps come in two varieties, known as Monoblocs: long coupled (motor and coupling are housed separately) and close coupled (motor and pump are housed together). Larger end-suction pumps typically have a twin volute to lessen the impact on the impeller, motor, shaft, and bearings.End suction pumps are typically single-stage, cast iron, bronze, or stainless steel made.

CRI Fluids offers the following series of end suction pumps:

ECW Series- End Suction Pump
ECW Series is designed as per EN 733 standards and they are most suitable for water supply for irrigation, HVAC , and firefighting. They ensure noise-free operation and long life.

ECC Series
ECC Series is designed as per ANSI B73.1 and is suitable for continuous operation. They are most suitable for handling the chemical transfer.
ECP Series

ECP Series from CRI is designed to handle medium-consistency pulp, different kinds of syrup, and molasses. It is equipped with external impeller adjustments to maintain optimum hydraulic performance

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1.What are the common applications of end suction pumps?
Some common applications of end suction pumps are the transfer or circulation of low-velocity liquids, solids handling, slurries, and chemicals.
2. What are the best piping practices for end suction pumps?
Air pockets should be eliminated by arranging the piping in such a way as to allow easy flow into the suction. Otherwise, they should be equipped with suction diffusers
